⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the buttermilk prawns, really tasty! A little spicy, buttery, and just nice in flavor. The seaweed soup was full of fresh vegetables and seaweed, very comforting and satisfying. The coffee milk was excellent too! I asked for it kaw (thick), and it turned out perfect, slightly bitter from the strong coffee, a bit sweet from the condensed milk, and creamy from the evaporated milk. Overall, a truly satisfying meal at 88 Lucky Seafood Restaurant. Highly recommended!

We understand the lady boss’s struggle most of the staff are new, and only the lady boss and one experienced worker could handle things smoothly. Even though service was a bit slow this time, the food was still delicious, and they really tried their best. I truly respect the lady boss, she cooked, came out to check bills, and then went back to the kitchen to continue cooking. She kept apologizing for the inconvenience, yet stayed calm and never raised her voice at her staff, even under stress. I’ve been here before when the full team and both bosses were around. everything was super good! Still one of my favourite places to eat!

This is the best Chinese restaurant before going to perhentian or coming back for meal. Seriously there is not much nice food at the island and this is Recommended food at the jetty. All the dishes is nice comparing to the island seriously. But there is some disadvantages as the waiting time is long and there is only 1 chef and one table at a time so if rushing for boat or flight then better check the crowd before ordering else you will complain and grumpy the whole meal.

Came here for lunch. Highly recommend the slipper lobster here (it’s also based on availability) the seafood is fresh, no fishy smell and it is super chewy! The size is big too, precious food that rarely see in KL! Octopus is nice too fresh and chewy. Service is good, the waiter and owner are friendly to share the specialty of their foods, but the service is a bit slow, need to be patient for delicious food…

Boss was super friendly, he chit chat with us while we were having our dinner tonight. Listening to his story of starting the restaurant and sustaining it was never easy but he still stood strong to maintain the food quality and business. He recommended us the fried giant mantis prawn, it was awesome eeee! So succulent and juicy! Tasted like lobster. Most importantly price is affordable Even my daughter loves it! Tourists and locals please come and support this humble boss!
